ITIBER - University Centre of Italian-Iberian Studies


The University Centre of Italian-Iberian Studies (ITIBER) aims to:

  • promote research activities in the fields of literary and linguistic relations among Italian, Portuguese and Spanish literatures, in a European and interdisciplinary view, analysing the 16th-17th centuries in particular;

  • organize courses, workshops, refresher activities, national and international study conferences;

  • promote a scientific debate, editing articles, texts, handbooks, reviews, bibliographical indexes;

  • encourage the exchange of information among research workers of the field, also in collaboration with other institutions or University departments, even if they are not members of the University centre, with national and international research institutions and with operational research units established in research structures of Italian and foreign public and private institutions;

  • stimulate activities of interdisciplinary collaboration;

  • collaborate in research and development activities with public and private institutions, according to suitable agreements and/or by means of activities of scientific popularization, conferences, schools.
