Degree code LM-14
This course is structured in three curricula:
The aim is to impart precise knowledge of Italian civilisation, specific to each historical context, focussing on how literature and language relate to our classical and medieval heritage, and how they connect with modern themes on a European level. The three branches of the course provide a wealth of philological, theoretical and methodological experience that equips students to take on complex issues in linguistics and literature. Graduates will be directed toward professional activities related to cultural heritage and text composition, as well as to doctorate studies.
The European Renaissance Studies curriculum (Studi sul Rinascimento europeo/Master Renaissance-Studien) has an agreement with Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn (Germany) for the conferral of a double degree in ‘Modern Linguistics’.
